To be little

I really like Halloween, when I was little my folks really had fun with holidays and Halloween was no different. I almost always had one of the coolest costumes and I can remember what I was for a bunch of them... One year I was a roller skating cat. That year I was also in "My Fair Lady" at the old Promise Valley Playhouse.. I remember going trick-or-treating really late, after the play was over, but my momma was a trooper and took me until I was tired. I got to be one of the best witches ever.. I have looked for pictures of myself in that costume, but I must have been too excited to hold still. It was a huge head made out of foam. I think my dad stayed up most of the night trying to finish it for me... It was pretty amazing..In Washington, we went trick-or-treating with a neighbor (brother Fischer I think) and he made it super fun.. The last time I went trick-or-treating for myself was when we had Japanese exchange students. They had never gone before, everyone kept saying "aren't you a little old for this" Good thing we had a good excuse.. I was way too old but it was so much fun. So anyway, tomorrow we do all our carving, treating, and costuming.... I hope my kids love it as much as me... I still haven't taken their pictures in their costumes... Tomorrow....

Every year we head over to good old Smitt's, to find a pumpkin..Ry loves picking out hers and helping the rest of us to find just the right one... I will post the pictures of the carved finished product.

We did it!!!

We came home... I am trying to download pictures, put stuff away, and take care of the kiddo's while Jeff headed off to bishopric... (life just keeps going) So be watching because I am gonna post pictures soon... I PROMISE.... (that is the real reason people check blogs right? the shots of what the fam is up to) Plus I got my Halloween-ie Avon calender so I am taking a picture of it's cuteness AND I got this cute little sign for Gator's stroller/diaper bag and I want all the heart momma's out there to see it's cuteness...

Hummm!!

That is a happy noise... we are just waiting till about four to hear if we go home... the stipulation is if he stays about the same on the amount of FP he is having... He went from 15-20 diapers a day to yesterday having around 6 and today he is eating well and drinking well and we think has had only 1 so far... Whew! lets put this behind us... Don't get me wrong, I love having play dates with Jennylin while they are here with Bryson for his Fontan, but I would really like to be home in our routine... Now Ry missed dance AND her very first field trip with preschool... I don't think she will remember that they had that coming up so we aren't so terribly disappointed. There will be more and at least she didn't miss the party; right. I think for Halloween she has decided to be Hannah Montana/rock star/diva and Gator man will be a gator, I bought his costume off ebay for .99$ Woohooo... I wish I knew about cheap costumes online before.. I would have bought dress ups for sooooo much cheaper. Also I have to tell everyone about this great sale I went to today and bought the kids summer clothes for next year. It is Mervyns... They are going out of business and they had things for 2$, 4$, 6$, and 8$.. I bought almost everything for 2$... They have the cutest little clothes in the Sprockets line. So if you have minute to swing by a Merv's for some great deals, I would buy for next year if you can.....Well Gator just woke up so I gotta run...

Hanging tight

we are just hanging out today, nothing major going on... Yesterday the cultures came back positive for C-Diff.(What a surprise, Right)Nothing else seems to be out of normal. He did have to go back on O's last night. But is off again today, and seems to be holding fine. He also "icked" again yesterday after eating a whole bowl of Mac-n-cheese.... Wow he didn't even chew it... Just swallowed the stuff whole... That was probably really nice coming back up... So we are sticking to almost the same diet as yesterday before he icked- Yogurt, chicken noodle soup and crackers.... I have had some very lovely meals at the RC (Rainbow Cafe'). Jeff went back to work today and Ry has been having the time of her life with her Terry-mommy and the her cousin Arlington... Thanks guys for the help.... Well it doesn't seem like we are going to get outta here today... So we will update later... I think I am going home tonight so I can sleep tonight.. Love the nurses/hate the interruptions...

waiting on cultures

Well I just thought that I would update that there is no update and we are just hanging out. No sign of going home today. They wanted to put him on some more IV fluids to replace his stools... Since he still has some pretty wicked FP (Fast Poopies). He vomicked yesterday but hasn't today... Ry is happy hanging with Papa Homer today, she went to school and is trying to keep with her normal routine... We have such great family and friends... Always willing to help in a pinch... I am always blown away by the well wishers and sweet service... Thank you... The "REnts" are hanging in there... We are old Pros now. We would rather be here getting better than home doing laundry from all the poop-tastrophies...... N-E- Ways... Wishing everyone a happy Family Night.... Jeff, Brynn, Ry, and the Gator Man...

Just as things roll

We've been rather busy, besides our regular weekly activities we got to have Averee stay with us for her UEA. It is always so nice having her, because she helps with the little ones so much. We have also had another helper. Our friend Isaac from next door has bee hanging out with us since he has been off track... So on Thursday we decided to go the Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving Point. It was so fun, and there was so much to do... The kids really enjoyed it. I have a ton of pictures but I don't have then organized yet so I will post them later. Then on Saturday we went to the pumpkin walk at the W.Jordan museum....Saturday was also the beginning of Gator's health decline... Sunday with so many FP, we decide to have Jeff take him to the ER.. I had obligations at church and Ryleigh was giving her first talk.. Which she did very well... I was so proud. Anyway he was very dehydrated and required being admitted and staying here until we figure out what he has... We are hanging out today and don't know much but we will figure it out and hopefully be home soon... I have pictures of him here too... Just not the cord to up load... so I will take care of that later today....

I wanna move to Florida

Ummm I turn my back for two seconds and this is what happens. Two escape-ies eating the snow... Yeah, You heard right SNOW in the middle of OCT... I know not too uncommon for Utah, but I thought we would have a nice long fall...

we got enough to stick... That is a little crazy! what does that mean for the winter...probably long and lots of this white stuff...is my guess!!!

You're killing me Smalls

He is getting sooo brave, with a little bit of candy we can accomplish anything. Check out his face, it is so bruised from all the falls. Yesterday the kids went to the Ped... They are both growing like weeds. Ry even got her Kindergarten shots... Five shots yesterday for her... One for Gator and for me... We all had our flu shots yesterday.

So we are going to see if they can help out a little... I tell ya, I am way over changing clothes and poop-tasrophies ten times a day...

Fall pictures!!!

This is the start of the Fall pictures... We go to Gardner Village a ton so I thought I better post about it... And if you want to go and see the witches they are there...

I tried to cover Gator's goose egg with a hat.. did I say I finally found him some old man shoes.. Penny loafers...

I made bribes with candy from Sweet Afton's. Ry pretty much thinks that store was put there for her....

So for you photog buffs, what do you think about the focal Black and white on the first and last pics????? I like the effect because it makes it feel old fashioned... Humm still playing and tweaking you know me.
