Where to even start

I have so much to back track on that, well........ I actually think moving forward from here is better.

Saturday was so busy...

Jeff is in Texas supporting Nic while he is doing the Iron Man. We missed him so much. Nic did a fantastic job, and Jeff was so excited to be there to support him. I am amazed by the physical strength it takes, but more than that, I am impressed with the mental strength. You have to be willing to push your mind to force your body to keep moving. I just don't know if I could tell myself to exercise for 14 or 15 hours. Jeff also got to cross another state century off his list. One of his life goals, or as Gator calls it, "Live List" is to bike 100 miles in each state. They wanted to pre-ride the cycling portion of the Ironman, but part of it was on the freeway, so they had to take a different route. That's fine, because, goal accomplished. Now we recover????

I had "Day of Service" our Stake and ward worked with Home town Community. It is a service group that helps nominated individuals get some extra help with their homes and yards. About two weeks ago, I was asked to be the group leader. I have zero yard skills when it comes to big jobs like fence building and tree removal. But I can garden with the best of them, and I can point people in the right direction. My sweetheart helped get everything ready so that I could hop in the truck this morning and head over. At first  I was pretty stressed because not many folks had signed up to help out. But our ward friends did not disappoint. They showed up with tools and excitement to help. We were able to accomplish a ton, and now the next group can come in and get even more things done. It was a huge blessing to the home owner who recently had some major health problems and is wheelchair bound.

Alex had MORP. He was in and out of the house today going on dates with Leah. They have had so much fun this year.

The little girls wanted to get their toesies done. And CrAsher wasn't that jazzed about a pedicure. So I took him to nicklemania.

Just a crazy full and fun day.
