Bright, Cheery and oh so easy to keep tidy.... The vessel sink is so cool... It is what inspired everything... I love working on projects with my hubby... I think we have changed every room on the upper floor except the salon and the kitchen.. I don't think I will ever change the kitchen, I have loved that from the very beginning... and I don't know how much we will change the Salon... But it is fun to dream.. I did change my accent colors from red to green and terracotta in the kitchen... that is enough of something different for me... Maybe just paint and colors but noooooo cabinets....

My first Ever!!!!

My new sister-in-law to be, has more faith in me than I deserve... She asked me to shoot her bridals... Well what is the first thing I do but, beg Amanda and Lyndee (and Bribe with Free hair) to heeelllllllp me! Amanda coached and Lyndee did the shoot with me... Both have such amazing eyes... My mom came too. Can you believe she made the gown and did the flowers in the car on the way to the shoot.... But most of the credit should go to Jess for being so dang gorgeous!!!!!

Try again

I tried to do another shoot with Ry for her birthday photo but it just didn't work out the way I was hoping... Of the 50 or so pics.. there are about five that are any good... I will just have to keep working at this... Try try again....

Okay everyone... I am just reminding you that if you haven't pre-registered for the Walk/Run the deadline for preregistering is The 20TH that is NEXT WEDNESDAY..... I also wanted to get a count of who will be in GATOR"S GANG..... So that I can get you a special thing in behalf of him.... We want everyone to know that you are with US......... I am so excited to also tell you that our group just got the letter telling us that we are officially a non-profit 501c3 status org...... YEAH... that means that if you donate to our group you can receive a tax write off.... YOU GO!!!!

Wheeler Farm

This was the last Activity for DDI summer playgroup. We have had so much fun and lave learned a bunch during play. It was funny to tell Ry what an outhouse was... It didn't really smell bad... Ave is saying "could I get some privacy please.." She is here for a little visit... We love to have her stay and play with us...

Bad luck comes in 3's

Okay so I have found this to be true after our friend Mark told me this years ago... But bad luck comes in threes... We have recently encountered this with our vehicles... #1- the first incident happened when we went to drop of some things to Nic and Marti and our car was towed from right in front of their house... 150.00 dollars later we were happily on our way home... #2- shortly after Jeff traded his new truck for and even newer truck.. he was rear ended.... The man who caused this was kind and said that he was sorry and that he wasn't paying any attention... And the #3 thing... On Saturday we went out to dinner and then to the parade of homes... after visiting one of the houses... We came out to find our car had been crunched... The gal that did the crunching, was so sorry and just came up and handed us her insurance card.... Man, it seems we were bound to have the third thing happen... Then Jeff tried to help me out by taking the car to the repair shop.. but they wouldn't let him sign for the rental because his drivers license was expired... Only three days, but still.... So he has to go on his lunch and get that all worked out today.... Good thing it is only cars and none of us have been hurt... It is also nice that we still have vehicles that work well... We are so blessed... so if you have just begun your three of something... don't be surprised if over the next little while you are finding this to be true, too...

Happy Birthday

Gearing up

Each year I do a birthday announcement... I started when Ry was little.. It includes a letter and a photo of the child having the birthday.. For the most part it is for the grandparents and the "grapes" to have a picture of the kids as they get older... and for the other reasons.. to be an birthday party invitation and also for me... to be able to make the cards.. It is pretty fun... So anyway.. I got started on the photo shoot with Ry and let me tell you this is one of the many I guess I am going to take... I need just the right shot... I thought we would see how it goes.. I shot these in the garage..I think I will try a location.. or maybe a prop or something.. If you have any good Ideas.. let me know..

M-(remember I am trying to teach tolerance and acceptance) She is smoking a cigarette.
R-Do we like those mom?
M-No honey, they are not good for our bodies. I don't like those.
R-I don't like them either, does our daddy like those?
M-No our daddy does not like those.
R- Some big boys like those "pogo sticks" Don't they mom?
M-(hysterically laughing) Yes Ry some big boys do like Cigarettes....

R-Do you want some of my candy?
M-No thanks honey, I am trying to be better and quit eating so much sugar.
R- Not me, sugar is my favorite!!!!!
