MayLee's 5th Birthday

How do the years of my child's life seem to fly by, when the days are so long?

MayLee wanted Chic-fil-A for her birthday lunch.

Then that night we had a dinner of her choice.. Shrimp corn chowder and pink cup cakes.

She got some clothes and littlest pet shops. I wrapped up everything, just because it's so fun to have things to open.

New Year Eve

Happy New Year Eve!!! We went to a friends house for a visit, which was perfect. I wasn't feeling super great and having everything taken care of made the night easy and enjoyable. Then we were home for the twelve o'clock time and then right to bed. But May sure looked cute for the day.

We have certainly had a pretty fantastic year and have been blessed with great health. We accomplished so much, and have so much more we are anticipating in the next. We wish everyone the best of 2018...

Buying a goat

We took the kids down town Salt Lake City to see the lights at temple square and also had huge plans to buy a goat. That's right, I said a goat. In the LDS religion, we have a new tradition to Light the world. Or bring light to the world. We can do that by offering service, giving of our our time, talents, and resources. So one really cool thing we wanted to see and use are these vending machines with various things that people need. They are then shipped to the appropriate locations, be it here in America or in other countries. Obviously the goats are for other countries who can benefit from having milk and meat from these animals.

Curly hair Gator

Gator wanted a crazy fun hairstyle. We decided to give him a perm. It was super fast to wrap and it turned out so awesome. It is not so tight any more, we will definitely do it again sometimes. I can't seem to have any natural curly kids, so I guess we just have to perm them...

Preschool Christmas Program

We just love Preschool. MayLee did such a great job, she remembered her lines and she also remembered all the words to the songs.
Look at these darling little faces...

You would never expect that just a moment after those sweet faces would, you know, this...........

Shatter the candy jar.

Eden and Alex character award

Eden was nominated as the student who has the character award of Generosity. The teacher said she is so sweet and willing to help and give when ever she can.
Alex was also nominated. His teachers said that he will find a person who needs a friend and be there when they need him. He trys to be kind to everyone.
I was proud as punch to have such great kids.

Lego League

Alex has had so much fun doing Lego League. It has been a really great experience, they had to research a way to collect rainwater and then distribute it. They also had to come up with a robot and will compete soon. They came up with a small production, Alex is the narrator.

Baby Picaso

Mini Picaso strikes again. A little Expo marker..

He found when he dumped out all these.
Then added a little to himself...
