Gator's Birthday Part 2

Grandma and Grandpa great came all the way from Idaho to be with Gator on his Birthday. After the big race for daddy. Gator, Ry, and Munchie went to Grandma and Papa's while mom and dad went to the temple. Then we met up again for a yummy dinner. When asked what Gator wanted he told Grandma H. Ramon Noodles. Well of course we needed to choose something different so he said it was okay if we did fettuccine Alfredo and shrimp.
 

 

Then it was time for presents.
 

Gator got some awesome clothes and socks... He also got a pop rocket that Ry bought for him with her money. He got some tools to help out in the garden, some fun coloring scratch things, a slip and slide and more that I can't even think of right this minute.. He was spoiled.  

He also got to ride in this fantastic car. Princess Debbie took him for a ride around the block. He safely sat down for the ride. I just couldn't see him for the picture.  

Dad and the Bike Race

We really wanted to support daddy.
 

So we woke up at 4:30 AM
 

We dropped dad off then went to find parking.
 

Gator wanted to be the first to cross the finish line.
 

 

Gator tried to share his crunchy Cheetos with the first bikers to cross the finish. They didn't really want any. Imagine that.
 

Here comes daddy!!! He completed the Salt Lake City Bike tour, a twenty five mile ride, in one hour and ten minutes.
 

He felt great, his booty hurt a little at the end... Mine would hurt a whole lot more than a little.:) 

Way to go!!!!

Gator's birthday part 1

Gator turned 5 years old. I know, I can't believe it either. I thought that we would only get to have Gator with us for a short time. I am so glad that this has not been the case. Every year that we get, every month, day and (sometimes when it is really hard) hours, are awesome. He is ALL boy! He loves dirt and everything with wheels/motors... He tells me all the time he wants to be a Monster truck driver when he grows up. I think he will. He is learning his alphabet by which vehicle's name starts with what letter. He even has Zamboni for Z. I love our little man...
 

Munchie is still kinda stingy with her smoochies but she is certainly better. Daddy is trying to fill his quota for the day.
 

Ry looks really happy to be in this picture.  

Like mother like son. This kid always pulls a face for the pictures... 

For his pre-birthday dinner, he chose Wingers. They have popcorn.... Nuff said. 

Visit from Auntie

Auntie Ave came to stay with us during her spring break. She is cool like that, to want to spend time with us rather than her whole vaca with her friends. So we thought we would try and hit the big new mall that just opened, but ran right out of time so we went down to Gardner village and then fed the ducks here... 

It really isn't safe, in fact, I would say it is down right freaky to be that close to the road and have creepy people talk to little kids. Which is what happened. I was over with Munchie when some man approached the other three... I would have kinked his windpipe if he tried anything...  

We had a great time anyway.

Trying to figure out Birthday Pictures...

Wanna know something about Gator's Birthday Pictures... They always seem so dark... Too little light? Always indoors? I don't know... SO, I guess I am going to try again... Maybe we will try and do some outside, weather permitting... 

 

 At least I have wardrobe all picked out!

Easter Duds

My Ry is finally at an age where she can choose things she likes! It was kind of a chore finding a Easter dress that we could both agree on... The shoes where a whole other ball game. We did come up with a denim maxi and some darling flower flats....  She wants to be fashion forward..  It's ice cream sundae (with sprinkles) dreams, on an icy pop budget!
 

 

 Munchie is just happy to be here! Both the girls were sick with the stomach bug, so we only went to our first meeting, then I took the girls home.

 Gator looks so sharp, except he still gets his shoes on the wrong feet every time he puts his shoes on now and then. Just like in the photo!

 He can't help but pull faces... It's just in his nature...
In fact.... The other day he had showered and decided he needed and anatomy lesson. He pointed to his little chest and said
Gator- "these are arms pits, right mom?"
me-"nope" I said "those are nips"...
Gator-"aaaaahhhhh, but you have mommy nipples!"....
me-"um, yep, yep, I do"

He loves pointing out what I have.... In the past I have heard... Chubber chubs, mommy nipples, big-ish booty, arm jiggles, bad bref, crazy hair day, big-ish belly, squishy tummy.... Good thing he loves me despite my many......flaws Descriptions!
