Chicken skin
Munchie has Keratosis Pilaris. A pretty common skin disorder. Not something that bothers her much. She just looks so uncomfortable with it. Any suggestions on how to improve her baby skin! I don't want to do anything non-natural. She has it on her cheeks(both sets), thighs and arms. I am sure I gave it to her, as I have it too. Her chicken skin is on the extreme side!

Ry said..
Me and Ry went out on a GNO! We hit back to school night then tried to catch a movie. On the way we chatted about her day and how she did with a friend she has been a little bossy around. We talked about how they both want to be in charge when Ry squeals "so there was this plan that just blew my mind... Up" hahaha! She is thrilled about this timed choice jar. Things like this Blow my mind up too!

Gorilla snot, whaaaatttt?
Eden is in the busy girl stage. She watches for moments of complete chaos then finds something to explore and get into! We finally sold the Honda Accord and found a van that is new to us. It needs some clean-up love but that kinda stuff comes easy to us homies! I have joined the ranks of goobers. I am so ok with that. My friend Heidi calls hers a Swagga Wagon. I choose to believe i am secure enough that with that title i am not a goober. The best part..... Its paid off!! It is like better then new to us, ots like.... Awesome to us! So we were trying to go get a few things taken care of and Eden found the super sticky hair gel... Will she always look homeless? All the kids got haircuts yesterday and we also waxed Ry's brows. Now before I get crazy comments, yes I know she is 7 but she has brows that are long and curl weird. She cries when I tweeze so I just wax quick and it's over. That's what you get when your mom is a cosmetologist. Enjoy the phone shots of Eden covered in yuck!

Baby Girl #3
I start to get anxiety right before the ultrasound. We are so thankful for all of our children, we just hate to see then suffer with health issues. So I always feel nervous that something might be abnormal. This little girl seems to be perfect. She is just hanging out in there.
To tell the kids what gender of baby we were having, We thought of lots of different things we could do. Sometimes those plans just don't work out and frozen yogurt is the best all time fix. We let each of the kids choose their favorite kind of yogurt. We told them that we would be putting something in the yogurt that would tell them if the baby was a boy or a girl. Then we let them top it all off with all the yummies they like.
Gator's was easier to spot. He found a big pink bead first.... Ry found hers too, it's just her yogurt was pink and the bead blended in really well.

Traci Aviary
Our little outing was a while back, I found these images on my camera. We visited Traci Aviary as part of our POAP.. There were some really cool new exhibits. It was small compared to the zoo and there were a whole bunch of kids camps running around. We made our visit short and sweet. It was also hot! So the secret to success was going to be, make it quick and make it count.
The best part is how close it is to Liberty Park. The kids loved playing in the streams and water fountains.

Week in review
The summer days are winding down. I have toyed with the best time to start getting into our school routine just so it won't be such an adjustment when school finally does start. It shouldn't be too hard right? The problem is I love to sleep in and so do my kids. I have trained all my kids to be just like me. Daddy can't sleep past 8 without his eyes bugging open and worrying about all that needs to be done. Ry can sleep till noon if I let her. The other two can stay till 9 and pushing it 9:30! It rocks for a pregnant gal who loves some quiet time. We can usually work our morning routine without mom and baby getting ready to fifteen twenty minutes, but that is middle of the year no homemade lunch!!! So when we first start we need more time. I think we need to start tomorrow! Two weeks is a good adjustment period.
So last week was Daddy's birthday! He is really into cycling. This has improved his health and he loves the time to just go and push all the distractions out of his head. The Tour Of Utah is an amazing ride that is one of the hardest rides in the United States and you get to rub shoulders with some of the bigwigs of the sport. So on his B-Day he volunteered. Then we went to Rodizio for dinner!!! He picked out a fancy smancy new helmet as his gift.
Friday we went to heart camp. I always take my camera and never take any photos! We had so much fun being with our heart hommies. My dad is the best and always donates a movie night. He owns Backyard Cinema Utah. They have a huge blow up screen and an amazing sounds system. It is a blast, we have even played video games on it and there is nothing more fun then Just Dance on a huge screen.
On Saturday Daddy helped at TOU again. This time he got to see the riders for more than two minutes. They were coming up hill this time. One rider was even fiddling with his jersey, both hands off and going up hill. Crazy that it seemed like it took no effort. I would have been giving it all I got. Then we went to a neighborhood party. I made a salad that was new to me but turned out to be a crowd favorite!! Thanks for that Auntie Lisa!!! How can you go wrong with bacon, cheese and broccoli? The party was so fun, especially the huge slip and slide they put on the hill and the water bottle rocket! Today they changed some things up in our ward and one of my favorite guys Bro Christianson was released from the bishopric and Bro B was put in! Bro C did such a fantastic job and it is crazy sometimes how much we are needed in other places. Bishop and Daddy are excited to have Bro B and know he will do a great job too!
Tomorrow starts a new week! We have a big day tomorrow!!! We find out if we have a healthy baby and if it's pink or blue!! With more coming up stayed tuned!!!

One less to fix and a visit from the fairy!
Gator lost his first tooth. No tears, but super bloody! The kids were working on it... One pull and it was out!

Don't be fooled!!!
You must not be fooled by this sweet smile and cute little boy. Behind every smile is a crafty, always thinking mind that wants to play and get into trouble. He came to me yesterday and told me that he had left our circle on his bike to visit a friend. Then later, after I had given him the punishment for leaving without telling me, he told me"what I did wasn't very good, but at least I told you the truth" I had to give him credit, he had. That very same day he sent his friend down our driveway of death... Backwards.... in the wagon... There were no major injuries and his heart was beating pretty crazy when I asked why he did that.
"Well, because he said he wanted to".
He tracked mud all over the back patio, he insisted it was another friend. He is always asking to play outside. He finally figured out that if he gets up, gets showered, gets dressed and asks what it is I expect him to accomplish, like make his bed, pick up his room, do a couple of other small jobs.... that he can play play play... I love this little boy... Summer stinky and everything. (You know what I am talking about?)

G Family Reunion 2012
I love our family reunions. We had a little history lesson on how long these reunions have been going on. I have been attending them since I was 4 years old. I have missed a few years here and there but not many.
One of the cousins/cousin husbands had the hook up on this amazing blow up water park... It was soooooo awesome! Thanks Jordan!
Here is the gang... Our family does an auction so that each grandchild can have a scholarship to help with school. I was one of the first kids to get this! Daddy made this amazing camo cabinet. Perfect for a garage or work room. With so many outdoors men we knew with would be a hit. He even made it so it could roll around... No problem gun loading with this baby!
