A writing prompt for today was "Is there anything you just can't live without?"
UM totally
Yesterday I went visiting teaching. It is more visiting and being together than teaching.... Hahahahah!!!!
At the end of our visit, I gathered my three little tag alongs and headed home. I made a quick lunch, put the potatoes in the crockpot for dinner and loaded them all back in the car for dance class. I gathered up my belongings: diaper bag, keys, dance bags with shoes, jackets, blanket, snacks, toys for the baby, bottle of milk, water bottle, coupons for some shopping I needed to do, and the extra bag of goodies for my other friend. I went to find my last thing. My phone. I have this handy PING on my watch and I couldn't hear my phone at all.
Back to the van to do a better search..
Back in the house..
Back to the van.. Under seats and dumping out the diaper bag...
GRRRR.. annoying..
Back to the house. check the bathroom, and the fridge...
Decide to drive away to see if my watch indicates that I am not connected.
sure enough I am not...
go back to the house..
At the house I am connected (I later learned that I can be connected to cloud on my watch, which I was confused in thinking I was connected to my phone)
Leave and drive to my friends house. Get to her door and I am connected to my phone. It's here, she is not.
Leave for dance. Holy cow am I addicted to that phone. I can't call dance and tell them I will be late... I can't retrieve the shopping list I need, so now I am going to have to wing it. I can't make the million phone calls to insurance and doctors I usually do while waiting for the girls. I can't even receive a call from doctors or nurses or my boyfriend/husband (and I am trying very hard to answer his calls right away). I thought there was a cute little baby boy in the back seat and I thought I should get a picture. OH WAIT!!! I can't. I am slightly panicked while I don't have it. What if I get in an accident and I can't call for help? What if my kids call from the school and I won't be able to help them? What if I didn't close the garage and I didn't set the alarm, and I can't tell any of that without my phone. I was in a hurry to leave and I didn't do my usual rituals to get out the door. AAAAHHHHH...
It was a rough couple of hours. NOT GUNNA LIE. Anxiety level just shot up to a 10. OVER A PHONE.
My friend taught me a word the other day about being obsessive and I am truly.. Jagging... Or I was...
I need to have and intervention, or you could cut my right arm off. HA!

Bike ride to the park
I figured out how to attach the trailer to my bike. We set out for the mile ride to the blue park. I ran into a couple of problems #1 Eden does four pedal rotations to my one and she tiers easily. #2 Alex is much stronger now and wants to go fast and leave us = not safe #3 MayLee and Asher get a little squished together in the trailer.. I need to put a pillow between them. #4 we need a little more practice on roads near cars.
But we made it and loved playing at the park.
A typical spring day
It's seems like we shouldn't be surprised, but each and every year I am shocked when we have had beautiful teasers of 70 degree weather to a couple of inches of snow the very next day. In my closet my snow boots and flip flops live next door to each other because of this very thing. I am completely aware that it happens every year, so why do I wake up and go "WHAT???? Snow now?".
My little Tank got his crawl on today for the very first time. He has been steam rolling for almost two weeks, but with incentive of food, he finally is moving in a forward direction. It is also currently 12:19 AM and I am laying on his floor while he refuses to sleep and plays with his toys instead. It might be a rough day tomorrow. Wish me luck on that one.
Also, I am slightly embarrassed, but also proud to say that I adulted tonight and went to caucus for the first time. I was surprised and intrigued all at the same time. Thank you to everyone who serve us and represent us.

Little trip to Idaho
It's always a treat to visit grandparents/great grandparents. We are such a big family now that we stay in a hotel. The kids totally love it because of the pool.
Auntie Pres and MayLee
Auntie Preslee took MayLee to Frozen on Ice!! They had an absolute blast getting ready in their Elsa dresses.
Cali to Las Vegas
We wanted to go to church while we were on vacation. We have quite the crew but found a ward that met at nine. We got up early, dressed, had breakfast. Left for the fifteen minute drive to the ward house (something my children were surprised about). When we pulled into the parking lot (on time) there wasn't any cars in the lot. We drove around the building and found one car getting ready to head in. Turns out they were having stake conference and it didn't start for another hour and went for two. We decided to go see the beach instead.
