August 7th

Sometimes when you are 12, you need to chop off all your hair, AGAIN.. And then add in a little purple for good measure. Unfortunately the purple didn't last long. (Mom totally planned it that way) 

Her little baby stork bites are still visible on her neck.

We started to harvest a few things from our garden. MMMMM so yummy.

 I didn't want to throw away all the carrots that I thinned. So I searched all over Pinterest for a yummy recipe for little carrots. They turned out wonderful.

I am going to have cantaloupe coming out my ears soon...

The best way to end out the day is with an ice cream cone.

Smith's is the coolest.

Both Alex and MayLee were helpers at the Smith's Golf tournament in Midway, Utah. The got to meet some of the mascots for for teams around Utah. The yeti in the background scared Asher to death. Another sweet little girl screamed and climed her mother to get away from it. It was very real looking. 

 Alex was one of the speakers for the dinner later that night, so the organizers gave us a room to so that we could enjoy the pool and the park and then get ready for the evening.

Daddy met us up after work for the dinner. 

Angie came as the second adult to help with all the kids.

The girls found a bazillion snails and named them all and wanted to bring them home to my garden. I told them that they loved the resort and needed to stay home.

The start of another school year.

And just like that, they are back to school. Year round totally has it's benefits and draw backs. Alex is in 4th grade.

Eden is in 1st grade, this will be her first year in French. She is very excited to begin speaking with Alex and Ry.

He did it!!!! Now all he has to complete is Lotoja and he will earn the Triple Crank.. Great job sweetie

 

We came home from the Groesbeck family reunion to cheer daddy on at the finish line of the Iron Lung.  In this bike race, you climb a mountain. This is his first ( and quite possibly last) year doing this race.
