Cross this off our list.

Here is the Gator man Pre surgery... A happy guy with didi... they brought in some Thomas toys to keep us happy...

he wore his gator slippers, and everyone loved them... LOVED them. (thanks friends) We got special jammies to wear...

and although he was not super sure that he was going to like this tube thing, it turned out that it wasn't a big deal and he did fantastic and he woke up happy.... He said "all done! a momma?" And we gathered our things and went on our merry way....

Crazy sort of present

Today is daddies Birthday!!! and for a special present Gator decided to move that penny!
Happy Birthday to you! We have lots of celebrating to do..
We LUB you!

Is it kinda weird that I am keeping it?
It is washed... I just think it is interesting that it has been inside him.... I almost wrote swallowed penny, but then I decided it would be better to write that this is the one that came out!

Look on the bright side, at least he's a good eater!!!

It was all my fault... We heard a melt down coming on from the kids in the basement so I went down to diffuse. Ry, Arli and Gator; are all learning to share and sometimes it is harder than other times. I found out that I needed to use my mad-redirect-skills in order to make things calmer. So I began a game of "Salon". Each child sat down in my chair, I leaned them back pretending to wash and scrub their hair, telling them that they were totally gorgeous. Then it was Gator's turn. He sat in the chair, I laid him back..... He began to choke. I moved him back into the sitting position and I watched him swallow. My sis said to watch out because he was holding a penny earlier and may have put it in his mouth.... I asked Gator where the penny went and he said.."ummmm, froat"... Huujumph... Ry has never done such a thing so I called poison control totally thinking they would tell me that is would come out in his movement at some point and just watch him..... NOOOOOOO such luck. They wanted me to run him over to the ED to make sure it wasn't lodged in his esophagus some where.... I casually asked my siblings and folks " who is coming to the ER with me" to that Gator boy raises his hand and shouts "MEEEEEE" .... My sister also joined us. We had a nice time making the nurses laugh at Gator giving knuckles and saying YO YO YO... We found that the penny made it all the way to his tummy and now we are waiting for him to -PASS- it. He also shouted "peace out" as we left... what a boy!
