Ry and the dentist

Don't ya just love when your face is still numb?

Thanksgiving FHE

Last night for FHE, Ry was in charge. She had made the body of this cute turkey and as a family we came up with what we were thankful for to write on the feathers!!! Gator chose family, Munchie said candy, mommy said health and nice house, Ry is thankful for cars to take us fun places, Daddy said helpfulness of others, and G and G H said jobs and provisions. Well, those things were said maybe not by those exact people but we get the idea! Then our E family brought us these yummy turkey treats!!! Ry also had her piano lesson while daddy and papa made dust working on Gators big boy room in the basement!! I am getting so excited for this baby to get here and for Gators new room and all the goodness we have!!! Just LOVE!!

The power of suggestion

It went like this...
Munchie come get in your seat and get your buckles on...
M-No, I don't want to mommy!!!
G-yeah!!!! you have to otherwise the
police will come get mommy and take her to jail.
Me-yeah and I would miss you guys and I wouldn't be able to be your mommy.
G-you don't get nothin in there, except you could sneak in your phone and call Beehive Bail Bonds and they could get you out!!!
Me- true, I could do that Gator! Hahahaha

potty training diaries

Week two is down and Munchie is certainly getting this potty training business down. She loves getting to choose which panties she wants to wear. She also loves that she can sit on her Elmo potty seat. She did have two accidents this week. All due to mommy's lack of asking... She also sustained her first potty ouchie... Notice the fine goose egg on her head... We can blame Auntie Preslee.... Just kidding Pres!!!!!
She has been waking up dry almost every day... She is starting to show signs of night time readiness.... This has been by far the easiest kid to train. Poor Ry, she was right at the end of training when Gator was born and her world turned upside down. Gator had lots of issues trying to regulate himself and with meds that made him go, it was tricky to make it! Each of our kids has trained before 3 years old. If baby girl can train like Munch has then I only have two more years of diapers.... Sigh! Wouldn't that be wonderful? I still love that when we go to public places, Munch cheers loud enough for everyone to hear.... I get a kick out of the gals in the other stalls that giggle at MY potty accomplishments, made known to them by my little cheerleader....

First snow of Nov 2012

He begged me to take him sledding. He wanted me to go down the big hill. He asked almost every hour for four hours if it was time to go outside yet. So we found his gear....
And of course Munchie wanted in on that action. So we got her in her things too.
They made snow balls and did some sledding on the hill in our yard. Not the big hill.... They are gonna need daddy for that one. I bet that would be pretty awesome to see an eight month pregnant lady going sledding... SWEET!

They played for about 4 1/2 hours while I checked on them... It is hard for me to be outside that long. I think two years ago it would have been hard for Gator to regulate his body temp... We still have to dress him warm and make sure that he takes warm up breaks... But he is doing so amazing.
Munchie loves it too.

He was so excited that he could smash the snow. Just like he was sooooo strong!
This is Munchies version of a snow angel. She would just lay there for a few minutes... I tried to explain how it is to be done. She didn't really understand.

Gator got the snow angel making. There were four or five Gator sized snow angels right in our yard.

Miss Munchie and the camera

She loves to be infront of the camera as long as she can "I See" afterwards. She carries around a baby about 75% of her day. She loves her babies... I am so excited for Christmas because she is getting some accesories for her babies that I think she is going to love. She got a little umbrella stroller last year and has nearly driven it into the ground. So it will be fun for her to have little blankets and diapers and other little things that will help her take care of her babies while I take care of our baby.
"See mom, ton (tounge)"

Then she gets really really close and says "pitt ur mom, I see?"
So I take a couple and show her how awesome she is!
She is our sweet little girlie!

FHE with our friends...

Ry was incharge of our Service FHE... She chose to pick up garbage in our neighborhood park. I was not prepared for the darkness that came at 4 stinking 45... I thought I could predict a little better but day light saving really threw me off. Needless to say, we ended up using flashlights. This actually made it more fun to search for trash. Thanks kids for helping our earth. Service is about doing something that makes someone else happy. We had so much fun doing it with friends and having donuts as our treat after.... Yummy!!!

Homework- Diguise the turkey

One of Gator's assignments is to disguise this gobbler so the hunters don't turn him into Thanksgiving dinner. Gator really wanted to make his turkey into Spidey! I help where I can and let him and his imagination do the rest... "It needs an outfit and a mask mom" I am so happy he likes to be in charge of it...
His tongue also helps with all those fine details... Love!!!
Finished product! this is one awesome turkey. There is no way the hunters will be able to make him into Thanksgiving dinner.

Happy Halloween 2012

We love Halloween so much... I already have ideas for next year... Although I cannot convince my children that I would like to theme them.... I was not in the making costume mood this year. All the best costumes are homemade (in my humble opionion, because my folks always made costumes for me that ROCKED!!!) I just couldn't find the energy this year and so I resigned to using something we had or purchasing... Since Gator won't have a brother to pass his little costumes down to, I decided to sell all of his costumes to Kid to Kid.... I thought for sure I was gonna make a killing because I had 5 amazing costumes, I had included a few of Ry's... Nope, 12.00$ was all that I got... That was enough to get Munch this adorable warm monkey costume... turns out it barely fit our growing girl. I had to put leg warmers with it because the legs kept coming up.... But she was darling... We went to the kids school parade. It was first thing in the morning...
Gator wanted to be a real-fighter pilot-zombie-dracula..... He opted for just a fighter pilot for school... he didn't want to scare his friends he said....

Munch and I helped out where we could at his classroom party...
Ry is a Monster High girl.... We bought her costume.. The only one I paid for this year... It was a little painful to spend money on, but not terrible... We made this Monster from the make your own doll kit... So even though she isn't one of the regular girls in the show she really is one. We named her Shelly Ton....
Gator, Munch and I also tried to help at Ry's party....

Munch the Monkey

Shelly Ton

Fighter Pilot-zombie-dracula

The pumkins for the year... I didn't even have to get goopy. Daddy and Ry did the ghosty. Papa H did the other two with the kids!!! I love to carve pumpkins but it sure was a nice break...

Day with Ave

We love to have our Ave comes to stay with us and do fun things... We went to lunch at Chick-fil-A then went to Gardner Village to see the witches... I got tired, the kids ran around, I got more tired, Ave chased after them, we got a treat, I got even more tired, whew!!! I couldn't figure out why I was so tired... Oh yeah, I am cooking a baby!! We played the game Life. Mostly we enjoyed our auntie!!! Love you Ave!!!

Daddy and his bike!!

I am so thrilled daddy found a hobby he loves. I am a little slow at posting. Utah marathon, was down town and very early.... but fun! We are usually one of the few cheer leaders for the bike ride. I have promised him that I will try and be as good as him and hopefully we can do this together next year! We just the kids up and took them in pjs. While we were waiting Miss Munchie fell backwards into a puddle. Her whole bootie was soaked and muddy. Ry was in charge of photos that morning because my cameras battery had died!!! So thanks Ry we have some documentation from her IPod.
