Little white pills

Why is it that insurance premiums go up and what you get for it goes down??? I would really like to know. This year our premiums went up, but instead of making it better on us to get Gator's medicine it got worse. The last time I went to have his Enalipril filled the pharmacist told me that insurance is changing the tier level for a suspension. Or in easier terms a liquid instead of a pill... Boo hiss. I will spend any amount of money for good health for him. In my perfect world it would just stay what I was expecting and had always paid. So I wanted to come up with a solution to our small problem. After making some calls and a couple of weeks waiting to hear back..... We get to try pills. These are significantly less expensive. I wasn't sure if Gator could swallow a pill. We hadn't ever tried it before. He has taken meds his whole life and will his whole life, so we would have to make the change sometime. This morning I asked him if he wanted to finish off his liquid stuff or if he wanted to try the pills. He opted for the pill. I geared up for a huge ordeal. He put it at the back of his tongue, took a swig of chocolate milk..... And swallowed it down. Nuff said!!! Boy this is so much better then I thought... Here are all the upsides:
1. We can take pills any where, in emergencies and some in our 72 hour kits. Because it doesn't have to be refrigerated.
2. It costs a lot less..
3. I think I can get it at any pharmacy instead of one that does compounding!!!

Yay no down sides!!!

RMR

We worked all morning on our room project! Then for fun we went RMR for some car races! Gator loved it!!! It is so loud for Munchie and Ry but fun to see at least one race! I am sure Gator would have stayed for the whole thing!!! We also tried to school shop a little! My big girl who loves shoes just wanted to try on every impractical pair there was. We didn't end up finding anything. Just window shopping is fun too!

Seven-Eight Peaks...

We have been playing a bunch this week and I am super tired! How did all of my extra energy get sucked into baby cooking? I am starting to feel better and better each day. By the end of the day I crash in bed! It is worth it... We used our passes to try out bowling. You still have to pay for shoes but the game is free. We got there at a pretty busy time because we had to wait forever for a lane. Gator was so excited to bowl, I would have just bagged it and returned at a not so busy time but Gator would have been very upset! When we finally did get a lane we had to shoe up! That is half the fun... Bowling shoes ROCK!!! I got a strike one my first turn then it went south really fast! They put bumpers on for the kids but forgot to put them on for Munchie who really didn't want to bowl anyway! Her score at the end was an awesome 18!!! Yes.... Ry loved the music they played and jammed out to the music instead of putting her bowling face on and playing serious. Gator would chuck his ball, it would hit the floor with a loud thunk, then he would run like crazy back to his seat before seeing if he hit anything!!! Even if one pin went down he would say " yessssss... I am awesome at this game". We went to the real Seven Peaks the next day... No photos of this beached whale or the fishies... We did have fun.

Utah Lake Boat trip!!!

Did I mention that the babies are little fish? They are so happy to jump in and enjoy! Gator isn't always game if it's cold water... Something to do with his heart not keeping him warm or something... But they all had a blast at Utah Lake last Saturday with our friends...
Munchie was lulled by the boat... We call it boat magic because she was so happy, relaxed and content to just hang out!
Gator enjoyed the boat and the tube... He swam some but does prefer a heated pool...

Ry wanted to try everything and had the best time of all...
Daddy was such a great sport to get in the water with the kids.

Munchie even tried out the tube....

 Body surfing!
 Rock star!

Home improvement projects!!!

Seems like we always have something on our list to do... It is finally time to put a door on our master bathroom. So just maybe, we can use the restroom in peace. Here we have, the labor and the two project managers... They oversee the labor to make sure that everything is done the "right" way!
This one is obviously more interested in what is going on...
She won't let anything get past her...
unless she gets tackled by auntie!!!! AHHHH the super smoocher!!!
She is also sporting super hero band aids... I think a new door calls for new paint and the whole room to be de-junked!

Happy Fourth of July!!!

Parades, water balloon fights, mini van shopping, BBQ's, and grand firework shows made this Fourth an awesome one.
Munchie enjoyed catching candy almost as much as having chairs that fit her...
Ry's goals include getting as much junk as possible... and if she can possibly score a t-shirt like daddy that would be great too! (Dad got one this year, not Ry....Bummer)
Gator loves the cars and trucks and blowing kisses to the pretty girls...
 Bless America!

Gator says....

Just a few from the days while Preslee came to play, before she leaves on her mission.

Back story: we've been mini van shopping because right now I drive a Honda Accord!(for sale, 2003, new tires, 116,000 miles, great condition) we have been able to fit all our kids/carseats up until we will have number four baby! So we found a dealership with used mini vans we like and there is a possibility of trade in. We took the truck the first time so we needed to take the car to be appraised. I have all three of the kids in back . Riding up front with me is my sister Preslee! From the back Gator makes an observation.....
"momma! Preslee's head is bigger then yours!"
Well you can't argue with truth so I say...."well, she prolly has more brains in hers then I do!"

Gator to auntie pres- "um did you bring your IPad?"
P-"nope, sorry I sold it to a very happy girl in Nephi(city in Utah)
G-oh, does she live with Jesus?"(referring to the Book of Mormon prophet, who Gator has heard about in church)
P-hahaha nope there is a city called Nephi where she lives.

We are all sitting around the dinner table talking about hugging on each other and Loving each other and Gator says "ya know, we are all a bunch of lubber huggers"

Then we would laugh so much at the things he'd say he would ask me if I wrote that down?

And the best Gator says of the past two days......

Pres and Gator are tickling each other and Pres is poking Gator in the nose and then she pokes her finger in his ear and Gator says "what was that???? A Dry Willie?"
