July 11th

Working with dad. Well, sort of...

CMN Walmart recording

Sometimes opportunities arise that one couldn't imagine would ever be available to a typical kid. Experiences that shape us, sure... But more importantly give us an opportunity to give back and say thank you to those in our life who may not know they have impacted us.

Alex recorded a short part of his gratitude to be played for all the truck drivers for Walmart. He also recorded for the Walmart stores. Listen for him when you shop at Walmart.

I got to help out as well. Recording is super fun. We stayed a few minutes after and shot Nerf guns with the second floor guys. Thanks Children's Miracle Network for letting Alex have these amazing experiences.

A Hogwarts student for a day.

One of the neatest things Ry did this summer was go to a Hogwarts (Harry Potter) experience put on by our library. Everything was authentic to the books. It was a really fun experience and she hopes to be able to go again next year. By that time she will have all the books finished.

July 8th

I can't fathom how this is so fun for him.. Look at the scary truck next to him. But he enjoys it.

Some days we just need to blow at Lagoon.

Best Friends

These two darling girls got similar dresses and matching shoes and decided they wanted to go to the temple. They are such sweet friends. I am so thankful that Ry has Whitney in her life. They are great examples of serving and being pretty darn cute. Great friends make all the difference.

Happy Fourth of July!!!

The Fourth of July is celebrated with Early morning bike races for dad, then we go to the parade, we had a hot dog roast and Grandma and Papa treated us to the movies. Dispicable Me 3. Our friend Angie made it to the parade with us.

Why under the bed?

I guess sleeping under the bed is the new thing.
