Hershey Trip

The amazing folks at Hershey gave our family a trip to Pennsylvania to Hershey HQ... It was absolutely amazing. Our only complaint was that it was too short. There were so many things to see and do. If you are from the west, you probably don't think of Hershey as a destination to see, but let me just preach that it was SO FUN!!!! We are going to make it a point to head back and visit a few of the things we missed.

This was Asher and MayLee's first trip on an airplane. They both did really well. The lead up to the trip was the hardest part. I had to coordinate May's oxygen and then have approval, have enough batteries and so on. I learned a whole bunch and think I have it figured out.

Once we made it to Hershey Lodge it was check in for everyone. Even the kids had their own check in location.

We were absolutely spoiled with treats.

Deaf Leopard and Journey, were playing in a nearby outdoor concert hall. So when we made our way over to park preview of the Hershey Park some awesome tunes drifted over. You should have heard the screams and cheers when "Pour some sugar on me" started up.

Each child was measured for the rides they would be able to go on.

There was just so much yummy chocolate!!

Everywhere you looked, the cutest things reminded us where we were. Like this lamp post Kiss...
He just wanted to snuggle them all. He was lost and I finally turned around to find him here.

There was a bit of crazy at the water park, little boys and their handy dandy bathroom parts, well.... when you gotta go, you gotta go... so Ashy dropped trou and blended right in with the splash pad. Sorry again everyone. He also did a fantastic job applying his sunscreen.

You know you have arrived when you get prizes from the games and blue teeth from cotton candy.

We closed it down!!
The next day we built our own chocolate bars.

This is entirely chocolate. No hollow bits here.
Everyone humored mom and we went on a little geocache hunt... We actually found two in one location which was super duper cool.

MayLee nearly drowned in the pool. The lifeguard actually jumped in to save her. Jeff had to fill out the incident report. My kids held the door for about 400 people. All politely said thank you and just kept on coming in. Finally, I had to go over and say, last one.... Then they would carefully let the door close.

We had a movie party, with milkshakes and snuggles.

But we laughed and ate so many sweets. It was so wonderful.
