Play'in at the park
On a sunny spring day, we hit the park. This is just a block from our house and is a decent little place to play for a bit. We have quite a few parks near us. We have been trying to go to all of them near our home so that we can cross them off a rather long list. Some parks require a second visit so we can really enjoy it. I need to come up with a solid list so that we can figure out what we have close by and a rating system for each one, and based on the structures, who it suits the best... DONE....My next project.
Little bike riders
MayLee loves to ride, we have gone on a couple of training rides together. She has done a four mile ride and a 6 mile ride, with a couple smaller around the block type rides in between. But Asher really really loves it too. He can ride his scoot bike around the neighborhood with ease. When we decided to go a little further he rides in the buggy. He usually falls asleep when he is in the buggy.. He can also balance on the small pedal bike but can’t pedal it yet. He try’s to push the pedals backward instead of forward. He is asking for a pedal bike for his big third birthday.

Bike Rides begin
Daddy started his Bike riding season.
He loves the sport... I have dabbled this year with the kids. I have decided that I like to take the kids for short (non-bum-hurting) rides... the longer stuff is for the birds. This was the SL Marathon course. Jeff beat his best time by 4 minutes... Way to go babe...

Little Visit to Grandma's house...
While we were on spring break we went to see Grandma Clawson. Our Clawson cousins came along to the Bean museum at BYU. But nothing is as awesome as ice-cream at the creamery!!!
Grandma Clawson and all her little grand babies (Jenevee June in spirit)
Until any of my sibs have kids (or more kids), Asher Smasher is grandma's youngest babe.... A job he takes pretty seriously by claiming to sit next to her.

Peter Pan
Ryleigh, Alex and Eden were all cast in the production of Peter Pan. Ryleigh was Nana and in the pirate ensemble, Alex was a lost boy and Eden was a raccoon in the animal ensemble. They have had rehearsals and tech week and production, as well as cast dinners and fund raisers. The kids have had such an amazing experience. It was really fun for them to be a part. Since I took pictures throughout their experience and some are from others, here is a mishmash of all...
Closing night
Just practice with Mr. Darling
All the little Fairies I was in charge of chaperoning one night in the green room.
The kids made incredible friendships, being someone/something different and getting to participate.
Closing night
This costume was incredibly hot.... It was like wearing a blanket under hot lights. But she sure looked great. When she was a pirate, which was right in the middle of the play, she had to take off part of her makeup, but without me to help apply it again, we had to think of a way to preserve the most we could. I found a beard, which she would put over the lower half, then she had a head scarf to cover her brow so all she had to wipe off was the sides and bridge of her nose. I never did get a photo of her wearing this because she always had to become Nana again before the end of the show.

Jump and Bounce
MayLee's preschool went to Jump and Bounce for their field trip, I got this one and only photo of MayLee because siblings were invited and I was pretty sure Asher was the bravest two year old ever to scale the cliff jump. I sure had my hands busy running from each inflatable to the next hoping he would survive them. He did, so did MayLee. They both, actually, had a fantastic time.
