Yesterday's appointment and some other stuff I decided to throw in.

I was pretty nervous about the Dr. appointment. Mostly because I still didn't feel totally out of the blue. After a short check-in and a reminder that I was in the room. (poor busy Dr. felt bad about skipping me) I finally got to hear that magical heart beat. I forgot I had to have the WHOLE real exam with the pap and everything... At least I shaved my legs.LOL... I have to say all that business isn't so bad with a female Dr.. They must understand better. We get to find out what we are having in just four short weeks. That went by fast. We thought that maybe we won't find out this time... I am kinda a control freak so I can't say that for sure.

We went to the park for a picnic today... It was the best weather... Then I made myself cut roses and dig weeds until I was too sick for anymore... I had to do more than play today.

The funniest thing Gator said today was....

He comes running into me wearing Ry's Helmet and no shoes... and says
"There is mud all over my scooter!"
Me-" There is mud where?"
G-"On my scooter, and I JUST CAN'T HANDLE IT!!!"(include pout face and poop lip)
me-Just laughing

He has to get those phrases from his drama queen sister.
Who told be today that she just couldn't play anymore... When I asked why? She told be it was because one of her friends "Just Broke Her Heart"

I told her to cowgirl up....

I am so glad that everything went well with your appointment today. BTW, you should never feel quilt for having this pregnacy come easy. 1) That is the way it is suppose to happen. 2) You have paid your dues in the hardship catagory.

On another note, I have been thinking about this hardship catagory. It is so strange because I know so many families have gone through worse than ours, but is it wrong to want perfection or at least no more surgeries. We went to the cardiologist about a week and a half ago and the little mans pulmonary valve is not growing. He wants us to come back in September and is going to order a holter and MRI, but it looks like it will be back to the OR a lot sooner than we had planned. Totally not expected. I just want to grab my little one and run the other direction. The idea of the surgery doesn't bother me as much as that this time he will know what is going on. Ugh!

yay!! I'm glad that the appointment went well. Having some validation that the baby is good helps a bit with the stress level. When is the "biggie" ultrasound? It was great to see you on Tuesday even if we didn't get to visit much.

We got to hear the heart beat yesterday and I swear I will never get tired of hearing that noise. Music to our ears! How exciting that you will find out so soon! I love to know. It just helps me prepare. I am just grateful I live in this day and age with medical technology. If I had been born 20,30, or 100 years earlier, we would have had no idea about Lilly or Ryker. Anyways, you are in my thoughts as we both journey through this. And my prayers, of course!
