March 27th
Our last full day in Florida.
We wanted to take this opportunity to go back to Give Kids the World as alumni. It was such an amazing feeling to be back at a place that has brought such joy to our family. We found his star. A part of him that will forever be part of GK. We got to eat there and we got to get Ice cream...
March 26th
Sunday was super quiet. We found a ward we could visit and went to church for sacrament service. Then we went back to Disney Springs to walk around the little shops and be together. This little store had the most amazing chocolates.
March 25th
Last day of our CMN portion. Alex was asked to do a live broadcast during the Extra Life Gaming. It was incredible. They had all the players with their Gamer names, then the players would be watched on a huge screen. Two commentators would describe what was happening. And also show how those logged in remotely were faring. It was like watching the olympics of video games and board games.
After his interview he got to play. He loved it.
We packed up finally saying goodbye to all of our CMN friends and decided to go to our extended stay.
We really wanted to go to the beach. After consulting friends and getting directions we went to Cocoa beach.
Sand Gator
When we pulled up to the beach, we realized that parking was super limited and expensive. This little surf shop and the coolest owner, offered to let us park at his shop, for a minimal cost, and use his hose to clean up after.
March 24th
We had an amazing CMN breakfast with some of the Disney characters. It was the perfect way to start off the day.
After breakfast it was time for the "BIG EVENT" we did a live show hosted by Nic Cannon. Poor guy looked exhausted, but still came out and supported the kids.
He did an amazing job introducing all the kids. Alex was introduced and ran up to Nic, it took a few extra minutes for Gator's buddy to finish his walk, so Gator got to stand by Nic and hang for a while.
We decided to Check out Guy Fieri's menu at Planet Hollywood The observatory. It was fantastic food. I am all about the food.
Next we trekked back to the pool.
You gamers will appreciate this. Extra Life gaming had board games and video games going and we could go enjoy while they were competing.
March 23rd
After going going going... We still had tons to do.. Thursday was Mouse quest.. It's like a Epcot scavenger hunt.
This was the only day of yucky weather, and it didn't last.
After mouse quest we went to lunch with CMN. They had yummy box lunches. My favorite part was the dessert. A peach cobbler in a little jar. I failed to get a photo because I was downing it so fast.
Then we went over the the FRANCE part of Epcot. The kids loved hearing all of the cast members speak French and the cast members thought the kids were native French speakers.... That does a momma and daddy heart proud. Ry even ordered everything in perfect French.
After Epcot we headed over to Disney world.
These turkey legs are always on our list of things to do... Yummy...
We were exhausted after another full day...
