A little of this..

I think we are all very aware that Asher-smasher loves food. Who are we kidding?? Which Homer does NOT like food? We have always tried to offer rice cereal and baby food, which doesn't last long. The babies want sustenance, they want what they see the rest of us eating. Who could blame them for wanting the good stuff? We try to eat as a family for all our meals and when things come right off mommy or daddy's plate, you know it's tasty...
Tuesday is Taco night, but not the same kind of tacos. We have taco soup, taco salad, soft tacos, Doritos shell, Navaho, taco ring, taco casserole, and fish tacos. We have never tried the taco pizza but it sounds kind of good?
Last Tuesday we had beef barbacoa on corn tortillas with fresh cilantro, tomatoes, and avocado. They turned out sooooooo good. Here is Ashy trying out all the parts of the taco.
Yummy, it's pretty darn good.

It's like he is watching me for a reaction. Which I always follow with "mmmmmm buddy, it's sooo yummy!"

The kids are off track for the last time this year. We call it pre-summer because their summer is only three weeks long. Only for Ry and Alex, Eden is in the final stretches of preschool, then starting kindergarten and May is gearing up for preschool in the fall.
So we have been doing some fun things. Today we visited Gardner Village and saw the Faries and fairy houses. Ry was so inspired to build her own fairy house. She came away with lots of ideas.  She will be working away on that project for the next couple of days. We also wanted to try going to the fairy forest near Kamas.. But it is supposed to rain. I realize we won't wicked witch of the west. (What a world, what a world) but there is a "dry" creek bed that turns into a raging river. Not super excited about taking a 9,5,3,11m group up to a raging river. It looks like we might have to wait until it's a bit warmer and dryer.

Here is a shot of our group today. Gator got out of the fairy excursion. Thank you papa for saving him.
