Two crazy kids and one more to soon follow. (I bet)
So Ry is off track and we have been trying to do some awesome off track things. One of which is having friends over to play. I am happy to have her play instead of plant herself in front of the TV. So we invited Ellie over to play. The first thing Ry comes up with while I was attempting to mop the floor with the baby strapped to me, is washing their stuffed animals in the bathtub with real water and soap... It made for a very wet moment. You could hear poor Ellie say "I don't feel good about this Ry!" The perfect comment to get me right into the bathroom to investigate. I took the stuffed animals and spun out the water and dried them in the dryer. Ellie's little doggy didn't like the dryer...
Then the girls asked from then on out.
-Can we play store?
-Can we use some grocery sacks?
-Can we play in the storage room?
-Where is the tape?
-Can I have an enevalope?
The next question took a little more thought from me.
"Mom can we borrow two of your bras?"
My who's-it..... what? Why do you need to borrow those? Ry said they wanted to be like real moms. I explained that "They were just two little girls and those things were not going to fit them at all." I told her "Plus also, I needed them on account that I am a real mom." Ry said not the fold down ones (nursing bra) the other kind. I told them I wasn't sure where they were. They decided to forgo the bra idea and just use Gator's balls up their shirts. They tried on more of my clothing and those intimate enough to know me I will tell you the entire story. I wish I would have gotten a few pictures to tease her with when she was older and totally use in her senior yearbook or wedding video.
Then...
Later that night I was trying to get my kids to eat their dinners. Usually Ry is a good eater but lately she has been as bad as Gator. I got this idea to start telling them that Santa/elves are watching them and around this time are really cracking down and would put them on the naughty list if they...... I proceeded to tell Gator how the Elves were watching now and the would report to Santa. I did the big eyes to look around and said "shhhh- listen, I think I hear them". The kids went totally silent.. I even told them there is a song about it all.
You better watch out, you better not cry, better not pout I'm telling you why. Santa Claus is coming to town.
He's making a list and checking it twice, He's gonna find out who's naughty or nice. Santa Claus is coming to town.
He sees you while your sleeping, he knows when your awake he knows if you've been bad or good so be good for goodness sake!
(that is an extremely creepy song if you think about it)
I pause now for dramatic effect. Gator watches me and doesnt take his eyes of me until the song is complete. Then he sits back totally stunned at that news. I could practically see the wheels turning in his head, he was thinking this over. After a little bit he says to me....
"Can he see me when I am NAKED?, I am not sure I like that guy!"
What a doozy-
I told him he just knows, so you better eat your dinner. Ry finishes and is so relieved that her beloved PENBO is safe tonight... (my kids get ONE present from Santa) Gator is Choking/gagging down the last of his dinner the now cold sweet potatoe but he is making good time and eating better than I have ever seen. When he is done he says. "Now that guys gotta get me a Christmas, right mom?"
Keep this up and he will son, he will.
And last but not least. Here is our little girlie.. Pre-Gator smoochies

I wished that song worked on my kids. No such luck. Roman could use to back on a few pounds. He hasn't gained weight this past year.
Very funny post...I just read it to Tom and we both had a good chuckle.
Kim
That Gator is a smart one. I'm pretty sure I need to see your kids. Especially the littlest one. Bean and I have started venturing out, we'll need to set up a time when we can venture your direction.
Ah man! Too bad I didn't read this post YESTERDAY- I could have gotten the full version last night!
Baby girl is just as adorable as her siblings. I love how busy they are. It all goes by so fast- so glad to see you soaking it all in.
This post made both Ross and I laugh! Go Gator!
I still laugh about it!
