Days of 47 Parade

Our whole family got to ride with the 96th STB... Or... The awesome Army guys (and girls) as Gator calls them! Ry stood right in front.

Munchie waved a little

Gator and Daddy

There was a water gun fight going during the parade

Specialist M. was rocking the smooches from Gator...

This is a special soldier to our family. He gave Gator his medallion that is a protecting angel. We have so much to be thankful for!

These amazing men and women make it possible for our family to have the freedom to get the care Gator needs to live a happy life. They make it so that we can enjoy our little man!

After the parade there was a special gathering. Each wish child was given a certificate of appreciation as assistant soldiers during the parade. They also received a medal (wow!) and a huge goody bag filled with t-shirts and so many other neat things.

They promised to visit Gator in the hospital after his surgery. He is pretty darn excited to see them again...

That is totally cool! Did you read that it turns out Addy has a hole in her heart. Ugh! As if one heart baby wasn't enough. Our cardiologist thinks it should close up on it's own, but as you know they can never say for sure. You guys are in my prayers as I know you are preparing for Gators surgery at the end of the month. Giant big hugs! I wish I could be there with you guys so just know that you will be in our hearts and minds on that day.

I will be praying and thinking of you and Gator a couple states away during the Fontan. Too bad we aren't at the same hospital. I know that they will both do great! All our love and prayers!
