Out of Surgery

Just a quick note to say that Alex is out of surgery. He is now back in the PICU. We haven't seen him yet, but should be able to shortly. The surgeon said all went well, but he also said we are not out of the woods yet, meaning that the recovery is probably the most critical part of all this. Thank you all for your love and prayers for our family. We will continue to let you know how Alex is recovering!
