Cloudy with a chance...

Our friends the Patterson's must know we love a good deal/free fun....
They gave us a call to let us know the Cloudy food truck had stopped right here in our very town... WHAAAAAH????? Sweet we were on that like white on rice....

They handed out Tocodiles... and hipopotatos and whale subs... it was pretty awesome...

We can wait to see the movie now. It looks so fun...

Um... Not sure what this pose is all about...

Doesn't he give the same smile every time.,.. I try and tell him to relax. He can't.

Pigtails.... I am in love!!!

I can't believe we can squeeze her three little hairs into piggies... It is too cute.
I am realizing that I put her in this outfit way too much. It is easy to slide up so I guess that is why. Or at least I remember to take pictures when she is wearing it.

Back track a little

After deciding that I would finally take my kiddles and do something fun... We ended up with a doozy of a day. We went to Thanksgiving Farm land... The goats were the cutest animals. We road the ponies. Eden was not super excited about them once they started to move... We also rode behind the tractor on a trailer. The horses wanted to eat our fingers so we stayed clear of those guys. Ry wanted me to purchase her a chick to bring home. What do I do with a chick? I couldn't say. It stayed at the farm.

This totally cracks me up. She let the goat sniff her like a doggy would... Um, sis... Goats don't sniff like a dog would. But, girl you are cute!

Then.....

We went over to Mini golf. I thought it would be smart to go inside cause it was a pretty hot day. FALSE.... It was on the third floor of the building and it was cooking up there. Almost miserable. Eden didn't even get the concept and ended up throwing her ball at the hole. Yup, that is the way to do it.
Gator did the rock wall. He got pretty far up too. Ry wanted to, but she had a skirt on and a pair of flops.... So I told them we could come back for just a climb day.
She road the silly ride instead.

Then....
I took them to see Turbo. Lucky for us, all the venues were free. I just payed for treats and extras... It was a fun but full day.

Grateful #3

While I am going to make an effort to include a family post and some pictures... I thought I would do another round of my gratitude posts. Tomorrow (or in the near future) I am hoping.

I am thankful for:

Sleep-
I really really like to sleep. One day when the cares of the world aren't so pressing as they seem now, and the baby is happy to sleep soundly in her own space and not next to her groceries. One day when naps don't mean hurry and get what can't be done while the baby is awake done... I will sleep. I think. I will nap. I will not have brain haze from many nights of staying awake only to listen to breathing and hoping they are. Or holding a fevering child. Or sleeping in useless incraments.. Because really, what can 25-30 minutes really do for you. One day I will share my bed with only my husband.. And not have a horizontal child with their toes in my nose or head in my back. One day I will not day dream about a full eight hours, or look haggard.. I am sure I might miss these nights and weeks and years of unrest.... Maybe... Most likely NOT. Wish I could right now.

Chocolate-
All kinds of its loveliness... Especially cookies.. While pregnant with May I craved it and it hasn't left me.. It might be the sleeplessness.

Cold water to drink or water with ice-
So refreshing, cooling as it goes down. It is so perfect when your mouth is dry. When I am super thirsty... I turn on the sink and drink right from the faucet. Just like when I was little... The bonus is, no cups get dirty!

New underwear-
It always feels like an extra special day to wear brand new undies.. Nuf said!

Techno toys-
iPod, iPad, wii, computer, fancy TV's, smart cars, smart anything. Such an amazing time to live with all these amazing tools and toys:)

Grateful #2

I am thankful for....

Modern medicine.
I have been able have children because of medication. My little son and baby girl are living proof of the advancements of medicine. We have been able to hold and love them. They have been able to enjoy a pain free and full life because of wonderful doctors and nurses and medications. We have been able to diagnose them so that we can get the best care possible.

Vacuums-
The lines in the carpet, the ambient noise that makes my babies sleep. The visual of the gunk no longer in my house. New vacuums with snazzy tools. My little sister used to sit on the vacuum for a ride when she was little. I think vacuums are cool and I am really thankful for mine.

My husband-
It is easy to be thankful for someone you love so much. I think when I show him I am thankful... it is to show respect and patients. He does so much for our family and is always thinking of someone else. He works very hard to provide for us. Sometimes long long hours and weekends. People forget that he has a life outside of work, they call all hours. He will patiently answer questions and help out even when he is busy with his family. He makes it possible for me to be home with our kids. That is hard in this time. He try's to teach our children service and integrity in a tangible way. Jeff try's to see a need and help before he is asked. He is always willing to help out, without asking anything in return. He is a tease and a fun, silly daddy.

Grateful #1

Remember that I am trying to think of things other than the every day items, so be patient with my choices as they might be slightly unusual.

Today I am thankful for.......

Running indoor water.
Today I took a shower that was warm. I brushed my teeth, cooked, used the potty, washed my hands, washed laundry, washed dishes, drank cool water from my fridge, rinsed binki's and so much more. It is there and non stop. I am so grateful for it. I can't imagine what it would be like to have to haul it or go to it. I just turn on things and it is there.

Fingernail clippers.
They bring relief from baby razor sharp nails. They also make kids fingers and toes look so much better. I have tried to cut with nail scissors and file away the length. Both of those just don't work as well. Some amazing person had the same stress as me and invented this handy little tool.

Ziplock baggies.
I sewed these into a small roll. It is so handy to have and keep my bag tidy. Snacks stay awesome, things stay organized and clean. They are really awesome.

Happy morning!

Ry, Grace,Auntie on the lift up to the Alpine slide.
Gator fell in the bath tub and scored this beauty

I gathered these flowers and twigs from around my yard and neighborhood to take to Jenivee. Her favorite song is "you are my sunshine". I love that sunflowers always follow the sun. So when I see them it reminds me of our little girlie. My neighbor helped me tweak it a little by adding a moss ribbon and a little birds nest. Those things aren't pictured.
 Mays boogie eye:(
.
Where is May??? Follow the tubes... This is our way long tubing to drag around the house.
 Here she is!!!
She isn't curly at all. I just want a little curl but I guess we will just do straight.

She was so rashy I was willing to try anything so she got a bath with Epson salt.
I would be miserable if this were me... Poor little girl.
She loves this paper.it crinkles and crunches,it must also be super tasty! I will just believe and not try it myself.
After the rainstorm. Ah she is the sweetest girl, tonight she told daddy that he is so cute. Then she asked him if he liked pink and purple. Of course he does. Awesome.

Okay, purge over for tonight!
