Really hard task!

Yesterday Jenn Pearson asked that I would write on the update for Ian.. It was so difficult to see straight to tell people the hard news, that his surgery did not go as well as planned.... I wanted to ask that everyone pray for our special little heart friend. This really hits close to home for us. He was born only ten days after Alex and we have been close to the Pearson's as we spent so much time in the hospital together. We wish them the very best... We know Heavenly Father will do what is best for their family. Thanks for the extra prayers... Brynn

Brynn,
You are such a good friend to help Jenn with what she needs right now. Like you I think I checked their blog hourly, or more, yesterday and was sobbing when I read your post with my husband last night. I have asked several others to keep Ian in their prayers. I know that I hardly know you and I have never even met Jenn or Justin but I'm praying for all of you and will continue to do so. Your challenges have touched the lives of so many. Some you know very well, some you barely know and many you'll never even met. We're all hoping for the best! Please give Jenn a hug for me.

Love,
Joni

Brynn, thanks for reaching out to other families, such as the Pearson's when I first met you guys I remember telling you not to forget the way you felt and to pay it forward, in a way there has been this big ripple effect of support and kindness, it makes me so HAPPY to see this manifest itself into what it has become. I not saying that you wouldn't have done this anyway, because I believe that's just the kinda person you are...

Thank you so much for caring about others!

Brynn,
We have a close family friend who's daughter had HLHS. I shared your site with her today. She read Ian's story and says that she is thinking of him. I hope she contacts you, I think it would be helpful for both of you.

Love,
Joni

Brynn... Thank you for being so good to Jenn, Justin, Emily and Ian during this difficult time for them. I am so grateful that they have GREAT people surrounding them on all sides! It does my heart good to know that you are there to comfort Jenn and her family when I wish I could but circumstances will not permit. Thank you!
