We got our call!!!!

So Alex's surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. He goes to pre-op on Tuesday. My little sister Preslee is going up to PCMC for some testing for her seizures on Tuesday and my family will take Ryleigh back to Orem to stay with them while Alex is in the hospital. We hope he will recover quickly. We have only planned her staying there for this far along since we can never expect when he will come home. I am trying my guts out to get a family picture done before, so I can have projects like Christmas cards to work on while he recovers. Thanks for all the continued prayers.....

Brynn -

Becky had a friend of hers take family pictures of all of us before Joy died. If you are looking for a photographer, she may be able to help you out. I don't remember her name, but Becky could tell you. I think she may even be in your ward. We took them at Gardiner Village. There are some great spots. Good Luck. We will be thinking of you and praying for little Alex.

Good Luck!

It is exciting and nerve racking at the same time. I remember that even though I knew it was coming I just broke down in tears when the call came. For me, there was definitely some denial, and the phone call brings you back to reality. But at the exact same time I was so grateful that we could take that next step. I will keep you guys in my prayers.

I am so grateful for many simple things. It is times like this that show us what wonders the Lord has given us. We can see, hear, touch, taste, feel, and love and laugh and sometimes cry. I am especially overwhelmed at how the Lord has blessed our Family especially you (Jeff, Brynn, Ryleigh & Alex). This up coming surgey is an answer to prayer and his overcoming of hurdles to this point. I am grateful that our Father has lead you to great medical care and especially those sweet families that are going throught his with you. I am grateful for the love and support that they lend your way and you theirs. Our hearts has been touched through all those who are in this journey with you.

I just want to give you all a big hug and kiss the face of our sweet baby Alex. I wish that we were closer so that could we watch Ryleigh while Alex recovers. Do you want to put her on a plane or Fed Ex overnight her to us? :)
