Projects

As you can see I finally finished my pass along project. I gave away my third one today. Just two more to mail out. I was done last Thursday and haven't been able to find some of the addresses.

Then because I felt inspired to "finish" projects I made the socks I bought a while back into leg/arm warmers... Yay for hearts. I also needed something to go with the heart t-shirt I made Ry, so I made this twirly skirt with some more of my heart fabric and a free tutorial online. She wanted to sleep in it she loved it so much. I am going to make more skirts for that little girlie, she loves them and they are super cheap to make. I think this whole skirt cost me a buck to make. Ooooohhhhh and do you see those cute clips... They have hearts too!!! Guess what, My friend Cyndee made them for me (um Ry)! I was supposed to be the giver, she was one of my ladies to give to in the pass along, isn't she super RAD, for being the giver/receiver, I love them..Thank you so much..... Ry wanted to wear them right away.

This stitchy took no time at all... I bought the frame at DI. The hard thing was that the back slides into the frame and so it looks pulled a little. I might have to pull it out and glue it, so it doesn't look tugged.

I have been in the crafty-est mood lately. I have put all my other hobbies on hold while I do these little things. It's been kinda nice.

When do you find time. I am so impressed.

When DO you find the time? Seriously! I can barely keep my house clean with one baby. Sigh.

The skirt turned out so well! You whipped that up in an afternoon? Impressive!

I hung up my stitchy and it looks darling! The black really pops against the white beadboard. And the hair looks awesome too- thanks.

As we discussed- I did some quick googling. I think the Sorenson Legacy Foundation may be your best bet for funding your camp. He was the co-inventor of the computerized heart monitor so I think you could make a convincing case that your needs promote his legacy. The initial application is only 4 pages long and can be done pretty quickly. If they are interested, they'll contact you for more info. Let me know if you need any help figuring out the best sales pitch for it.

Where did you find the tutorial for the skirt? My Kimber would LOVE more skirts! She has been wearing her leg warmers all the time. Thanks for inspiring me.

Those are darling frames. Did you do the crosstitch yourself? Of course you did...

I need to call you and set up a time for a haircut. Probably next paycheck though.

I only wish I could be so crafty. I can't even work my sewing machine...but now that I have my baby girl, I am going to have to get it figured out! Good effort on all that...you did a beautiful job! Glad you are all doing well!
