Just one day after Grandma C's birthday!! We are so excited to finally have our girl..
We chose her name after hearing it a couple if times. We originally loved Ava but it became so popular that we wanted our girl to have a name that would be hers. MayLee origin is two fold.. It i comes from a Chinese name meaning Beautiful!! It also comes from a Hawaiian background and is a kind of flower... Both meanings fit our beautiful flower.
Her Middle name could cause some debate... We wanted a name that would reflect the season she would be born around. I love the holidays and as hectic as it would have been to have a baby on Christmas I would have cherished the fact that she shared a birthday with the Savior. Well, daddy kept teasing he liked the middle name Frankincense or Myrrh. He still teases that he will change it during her blessing... I told him I might kink his wind pipe if he decided to do that.. Noel, means Christmas. What a better way to reflect on the Savior!!!
