Lot's happening

There has been a lot going on at our house.... Saturday was the IHH Fun Run/Walk... With about 300 people there in support I was floored. I am so grateful that we all have instant friendships because of our trials. I was so proud of all of our family who showed us support. We are so grateful that we have you, we won't forget and will try and pay it forward... Also today (Sunday) Our ward knows now so it is okay to post... Jeff got a special calling to be the second counselor in the bishopric... I am really proud of him. We have been feeling really good about it. I know he will be busy, but he has always made time for his family and I know that he will STILL make time for us, he just has another family to watch over now too. He is really fabulous at all that juggling... With that being said. I too will be much busier. I guess that is what happens when we grow up a little. The new Bishop is a fantastic guy.. I can say that because I happen to live next door to Kyle Hansen.. With Bob Jones as the First counselor they will be really great... These guys have a huge job ahead of them, organizing our new ward.. (Go Sunset Ridge 9Th) I am sad to not be able to see our friends every Sunday. It will be a hard adjustment for a little while. (MISS YOU)

Here are pictures from the race....

Ry Pre race-- I made badges for all of Gator's Gang that read "Love stretches your HEART, and makes you big inside" - "From my heart to His"

Gearing up for the mile, Doing a few stretches and Hugs...

Making the best plan of action... Don't want to hit the wall too soon!
The Grandma's and Ry..... GOing going going. I don't know if you can see the kid in the blue shorts... He was the first to cross the finish line in about 5 ish minutes... One mile in 5 ish minutes... He was hauling... I think his twin or brother was next... but this is him lapping the group. Wow!

It was so appropriate to see those three wonderful men sitting up there today. You and Jeff will attribute so much to your new ward. Hopefully we will see each other in passing.

I wish we lived in Utah just so I could have done the walk. It is funny, I was thinking that even though I wished Roman's heart was a whole heart and not a repaired heart I am grateful for the opportunity it has given me to strengthen my testimony. I have been so touched reading everyones stories and their testimonies. Thanks again for mananging Heart Heros.

Sounds like a wonderful walk. I'm excited for our new ward to get started-I think the new Bishopric will be great. Kyara is very happy to still go to church with Ry!

Congrats on the successful race...wish I knew more about it, but it sounds like it was a success. And best of luck to Jeff! He will be great! I am sure he will be a great support to the new bishop and you will all be blessed as you serve together.
