Today has been much better. He actually had a relatively great day yesterday too... Most of the cultures are coming back negative which means that the infections WAS in his ears... and he is getting better with out antibiotics for those. I had to place a ng tube last night. It made him gag and throw up, but he was loosing weight and they needed to get his calories back up...So they fed him via the ng continuous feeds last night and today he can have what ever PO....He is weened off most of his meds and doing pretty darn good... Today we hang out and see if anything grows on those cultures, some take longer to present....That's about it....

I'm so sorry you've had some rough spots in the road and I'm SO happy to hear that things are smoother today! Hopefully they continue to improve and you're able to return home as a family soon. Thank YOU again! ;)
Big hugs,
Joni
Oh, I have so wanted to call you, but I have been given Dr.s order since I have Laryngitis that I am not to be talking. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT IS FOR ME??? I thought that might make you laugh?
Anyway, I am glad that he is doing better with a prospect of coming home soon:0)
Hugs,
Carolyn
Hey Brynn! I am so glad things are looking up! I am proud of you for doing all that you are doing! You are a TOUGH CHIC!
Big hugs!
Angie
I remembering having to learn to place an Ng with Elaine. It is not fun. I hope that it really helps with his weight though. We like chubby babies! :)
Kiss those shrinking toes for me! And get him chunked up again, ok?! cause we can't have Alex smaller than his girlfriend, Jordyn.
Give yourselves kisses and don't you dare come home for good without letting us know.... we have a supper all ready for yall.
Love yall.
Who knew that having ear infections could be an exciting thing. I am glad that they haven't been able to find infection any where else in Alex.
Give him hugs from us!
